Privacy policy — Monobloc

This policy describes how personal data is handled for people who visit monobloc.es, subscribe to the newsletter or write through the contact form. Customer data (members, passes and bookings) on app.monobloc.es is also governed by that platform’s terms.

Controllers

There is a separate controller for each gym. The website owner is Rockbloc Fitness, S.L. (tax ID B55690416), with registered office at Carrer de Sabadell, 24 — 43204 Reus (Tarragona) and email info@monobloc.es. Each company processes the data of people who deal with its gym:

What we collect and why

Browsing and site preferences

The site remembers the language and gym you chose in the browser’s local storage (monobloc_lang and monobloc_center). It also stores your choice about non-essential cookies (monobloc_consent). These data are not sent to our servers. The legal basis is performing your request and, for non-essential cookies, consent. Details are in the cookies policy.

Newsletter

If you subscribe, we process your email address — and, if you give it, the gym you are interested in — to send you news about Monobloc activities (as a guide, one or two messages a month). The legal basis is your consent (GDPR art. 6.1.a). You can withdraw it at any time with the unsubscribe link in each email or by writing to the controller. Sending is handled by Acumbamail, a provider established in the European Union, via POST /api/newsletter on our own domain.

Contact form

If you write to us, we process your name, email, phone number if you provide it, gym, topic and message so we can reply. The legal basis is your consent and, when the enquiry precedes a contract, taking pre-contractual steps (GDPR art. 6.1.a and 6.1.b). The request is sent to POST /api/contact, stored in our own system hosted in the European Union (IONOS Cloud S.L.U.), and forwarded to the inbox of the gym you chose.

Customers and bookings

Purchases of day passes, punch cards and memberships, and member-file management, take place on app.monobloc.es. The controller is the company that operates the gym you contract with. The legal basis is performance of the contract and legal invoicing and accounting duties.

Who we share data with

We do not sell personal data. The following may access it, only as far as needed:

• IONOS Cloud S.L.U., for hosting the site in the European Union;
• email providers established in the European Union;
• Acumbamail, to send the newsletter when you have consented;
• the member platform app.monobloc.es, when you buy or register;
• public authorities, where the law requires it.

No international transfer of data outside the European Economic Area is planned. If one became necessary, GDPR safeguards would be used.

How long we keep data

• Browser preferences: until you delete them or they expire.
• Newsletter: until you withdraw consent.
• Contact messages: as long as needed to handle the enquiry and at most two years, unless the law requires longer.
• Contract and billing data: the periods required by commercial and tax law.
• CCTV images: at most one month, as explained in the CCTV information.

Your rights

You can exercise the rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability and objection, and withdraw consent where processing is based on it, by writing to the relevant controller’s email or to info@monobloc.es, with proof of identity. You can also lodge a complaint with the Spanish Data Protection Agency (aepd.es).
